Unlike ordinary bandages, Compeed^® Blister Cushions are made using hydrocolloid – a moist wound healing dressing. Our skin is made up of many cells, and has the ability to heal itself. Yes. Compeed^® Blister Cushions can be used to help prevent blisters from forming, for example when wearing new shoes, or participating in a sporting activity. Yes. To apply:

1. Clean and dry skin before use, ensuring blister area is free of creams and oils.
2. Remove the bottom paper. Do not touch the adhesive side.
3. Apply cushion firmly over the blister, ensuring the edges are firmly smoothed down against skin.
4. Leave in place until it starts to detach around edges on its own. It may stay on for up to several days while the blister heals.
5. To remove the cushion before it detaches itself, do NOT pull upwards.  Instead, slowly stretch along the skin.  If desired, baby oil or warm water can be used to help remove it.

Compeed^® Blister Cushions are designed to stay in place for up to several days while the blister heals. It will start to detach around the edges on its own when it’s ready to be easily removed.
